APOSTOLIC FAITH

The Church is obliged continually, and particularly in times of renewal or reformation, to return to "the faith once delivered to the saints." That is why we strive to hear God's Word as it comes to us in the Bible, and to read, mark, learn, and inwardly digest the apostolic faith given to the apostles, handed down in our scriptures and faithfully transmitted through the ages of church history.

ONE CANON

As Anglicans, we stand in a long tradition of upholding the authority of Scripture. We affirm the singular biblical canon, which encompasses the thirty-nine books of the Old Testament and the twenty-seven books of the New Testament. We believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God, a sacred guide for our lives. We are committed to studying its truths, allowing its message to shape our beliefs and actions, and sharing its good news with the world.

THREE CREEDS

Our belief system is founded on the principles of traditional Christianity, as articulated in the Apostles, Nicene, and Athanasian Creeds. While we recognize the Bible as the ultimate authority as God's Word, we also acknowledge the critical role that the early creeds play in interpreting it with faithfulness and accuracy.

FOUR COUNCILS

During the Councils of Nicea, Constantinople, Ephesus, and Chalcedon, the biblical canon and early creeds were established as the fundamental boundaries for orthodox Christianity. These significant milestones serve as essential guides for matters of faith and practice, providing a solid foundation for our anglican faith.
